



| Melissa S. Knox Melissa has been working with dogs for over ten years and has experience in competitive obedience, agility, fly ball, rally, and tracking. Melissa's methods of training are based on developing an understanding of the dog's behavior and then building on the relationship between human and canine in order to create a trusting and committed partnership. Melissa's quest for knowledge is never ending! Melissa attends many lectures and seminars on animal behavior throughout the year. Melissa plans on earning a Masters in Animal Behavior. Melissa holds the following memberships, certifications, and degrees: Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) - Member International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) - Member Pet Tech™ Pet First Aid and CPR - Certified Instructor Dallas Obedience Training Club (DOTC) - Member, Trainer, BOD AKC Canine Good Citizen® - Evaluator Texas Wesleyan University - Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration Melissa lives in Irving, Texas and shares a home with her husband Mike, two Australian Shepherds, one Sheltie, one cat, and a tankful of African Cichlids.
